A mid-season classic has arrived, the CHR collection, the color up of all silos, which once again pays tribute to four glove models that are part of our history.
ZERO NEXT GEN CHR
The Zero glove, the brand's lightest model, has three defining elements:
- Negative cut, for maximum sensitivity to the ball at every block.
- Seamless backhand, so that there is no interference during play.
- Fitted pattern, to enhance the two previous features.
The glove pays homage to the MUSSA STRONG AQUALOVE glove from the 2015 collection, an elite glove in a special version for rainy days.
NEXT GEN CHR VALUE
Let's jump to the most classic glove of our collection, the Valor. The Valor glove recovers the classic colors, which are the favorites of goalkeepers looking for a more traditional style. In addition to the colors, there are also essential features for this silo:
- Balance of reinforcement, the percentage of latex and textile on the backhand is split 50/50 so that the glove is perfectly balanced between reinforcement and lightness.
- Classic wristband, with elastic band and latex closing strap.
- Classic cuts, leaving the hybrid cuts for other silos, Valor divides its models between the negative cut (elite version) and the flat (other ranges).
The decoration of this new Valor colorway is inspired by another historic Mussa glove, the 2013 Mussa Strong, which marked the first split between Strong and Air.
EARHART NEXT GEN CHR
The Earhart is the model developed by analyzing the anthropometric differences between men's and women's hands. We also listened to feedback from the best professional goalkeepers in the world. The goal is to have a glove totally adapted to the female hand. Some technical features that we have applied are:
- Adapted fitting, the diameter of the wrist or the thickness of the fingers is different from that of men's gloves.
- Level of reinforcement. The feedback from female goalkeepers is that they need a glove with a balanced fit and a cut that wraps around the fingers to increase the latex surface.
- Size chart, a size chart that is appropriate to the measurements of the female hand, taking the pro models down to size 6.
The colors are inspired by the Earhart model of 2020, the year in which the glove made the definitive leap to professional soccer and the best goalkeepers in the Spanish top flight of women's soccer went on to wear Earhart, occupying goals as important as those of Real Madrid and FC Barcelona.
PANTHER NEXT GEN CHR
Pantera is Zero's nemesis. If the Zero model is maximum lightness, the Pantera is armor. A glove developed for goalkeepers who want to feel their hand protected and ready to cushion impacts and dare with the most aggressive blocks. These are some of the features that make the Pantera the wildest glove in our collection:
- Breathprene for the backhand, a material that combines the armor level of neoprene but with air capsules inside to make the material flexible and adaptable to the hand.
- Rollfinger cut. A cut that completely envelops the fingers so that there is always an area with grip in any situation.
The colors of the Panther from the Next Gen collection are inspired by the first generation of the Odin, a glove that landed on its feet from the moment it was launched and became one of your favorites.
