Cata Coll on her way to Lisbon: fourth blaugrana final, second for the goalkeeper

FC Barcelona sealed their ticket to the UEFA Women's Champions League final at Stamford Bridge (May 24, Estádio José Alvalade, Lisbon). For Mallorca goalkeeper Cata Coll it will be her second final, and for Barça the fourth in a row -fifth in total-, a milestone that no other team has achieved in the modern era.

Not even the mythical Olympique Lyon had ever achieved it: five Champions League finals in six seasons and four in a row (2022-25). After the 1-4 win at Stamford Bridge (8-2 on aggregate), FC Barcelona Women sealed their ticket for the big event on May 24 in Lisbon. For Cata Coll it will be the second final of her career... Will she play it again with a special edition glove?

SPOILER. At SP Futbol we have been sketching for weeks an Earhart Pro limited edition to make the final special and, if FC Barcelona lifts the trophy, the gloves of the final will be a new piece in Cata's museum.

The challenge: to keep the VISCOBLOCK latex and the Rollfinger 2.0 fit while incorporating a commemorative graphic... Without compromising the properties that Cata asks us for his glove.

Will we make it in time? Nothing is closed, but the lab is already smoking - we're facing a three-week time trial to get there in time!
