One of the revelation goalkeepers of the season that has just started in the EA Sports League is Álex Padilla. The young Athletic Club goalkeeper who, in principle, started as a player of the red and white reserve team and third goalkeeper of the first team, due to injuries to Unai Simón and Julen Agirrezabala, has found himself in the position of defending Athletic Club 's goal in the first league games.
Athletic's goalkeeping is the ultimate test for a goalkeeper. A goal that exposes, that demands and that separates the wheat from the chaff. And from the first minutes under that goal, Álex Padilla showed the world that he was a goalkeeper.
Shortly after making his debut came the second big news of the season for Padilla: the call-up to the senior Mexican national team. The goalkeeper, although born in Zarauz, has a Mexican mother and a strong bond with the Aztec country, so he did not hesitate to put himself under the orders of Xavier Aguirre.
Taking advantage of this great moment of Athletic Club 's goalkeeper and that he is releasing the new generation of his favorite glove: the Pantera Elite, we held an event with young fans (and some not so young) at theFútbol Emotion storein Megapark Barakaldo. At the event the young fans of the club and of Álex Padilla had the opportunity to learn about the new SP Fútbol's new Pantera Elite, to review Padilla' s sporting career and, above all, to take home many memories: glove raffles and, above all, to have a moment with the footballer to take a picture, sign a shirt or have a little chat.
